About Huntington Beach
Huntington Beach is the official Surf City USA and home to the annual US Open of Surfing each year. The city of Huntington Beach located just north of Newport Beach and south of Seal Beach. Huntington Beach has 4 areas including:
1) South Huntington Beach (Area 14) is located just north of Newport Beach with over 60 different neighborhoods. A newer development, Pacific Shores, offer a wide range of townhouses located just blocks to the beach.
2) West Huntington Beach and Downtown (Area 15) has over 90 different nieghborhoods consisting of condos and homes in gated communities offering various community ammenities like association pool, tennis and clubhouse activities. Some of the popular townhomes in this neighborhood are Beachwalk, Del Way Townhomes, La Cuesta by the Sea, La Cuesta Racquet Club, Pacific Ranch Townhomes and Seaside Village. These communities tend to be more expensive as you move closer to the ocean.
3) Northwest Huntington Beach (Area 17) is located the upper north part of Huntington Beach and consists of the Huntington Beach Harbor Homes with boat docks and access to the Pacific Ocean.
4) Northeast Huntington Beach (Area 16) area is probably the most affordable area of Huntington Beach. It's located furthest from the beach just west of Fountain Valley and the 405 Freeway near the Westminster Mall.
